As a mother of autistic children, it broke my heart to see post after post in parenting groups about children's birthday parties where no one showed up. How heartbreaking for the child and their entire family. Every child deserves to have friends that show up to their birthday party.

Many children struggle to make friends, but in today's society there are countless ways to connect online. I thought, let's start an online community of families who can connect and show up for each other during birthdays and other big events.

With Birthday Buddy, you add your child into our database. We will begin to set up groups of children based on the area they live and their interests. Then they can attend each other's birthday parties and the families can get to know one another. We thought this would be a great way for children who  struggle to make friends, or people who are new to an area, to cultivate real relationships.

You reach out to us approximately 6-8 weeks before your child has an upcoming birthday. We will find the group of children they're best matched with. Then we will reach out to those families on your behalf and share the invite. When those families give permission, we will then share their contact info with you. We will never share your information with any other family without your permission.
